TAKE TIME TO LISTEN

                                                 

                                                           Take time to listen to all I you bring,

Take time to heed, shelve every other thing  

In this given moment, this time called now,

For this is the way, it’s exactly how

You are to behave in your mind and thought,

Since in you I want My work to be wrought.

 Take time to listen to My revealed voice,

Take time to know that My Word is your choice

With great mounting pressures on every side,

When deceits are as long as they are wide,

You are to be in your spirit and soul,

Relying on My Name, it keeps you whole.

 Take time to think about all that I say,

Take time, what I speak won’t lead you astray,

In this period, of huge uncertainties,

When all that bombards, are calamities,

You are to be in your heart, soul and mind,

Anchored on Me, I’ll not leave you behind.

 Take time to listen to the words I speak,

Take time to follow, though paths are quite bleak,

In this moment, lose not your confidence

For in My Word, I have put My presence,

I will keep you in your very being,

Held and sustained by My Spirit’s working.
