LIFE IS .......

Life is perfect wholeness in God.

Life is a drama lived out on life’s stage,                        Life is a mystery no human has solved,
Whose players are amateurs in their ways,                 Yet in its complex mazes, we are involved,
Since rehearsal’s not the name of the game,                For life allows none to stand back and stare,
Acting brings glory, or it brings much shame,               And solve its secrets, before they would dare
For the audience are also participants,                         To enter into its fathomless ways,
In each day’s celebrated performance.                         For who can escape life’s magnetic rays?
Like it or not, the curtain must go up,                           Like it or not, its mazes must go on,
And none, its exposing, can hope to stop.                    And none its strange pathways can hope                                                                                         to shun.

Life is a lesson we live and we learn,                               Life is a person, an unseen Being,
And many work hard its results to earn,                        Made visible in our daily living,
But living and learning go together,                                A relationship, so deeply intimate,
Since life’s an austere and just re-warder,                      None can its mystery to others relate
Where teacher, and student, live the same rule.             For the person is life, and life’s the person,
For this is the lesson taught in life’s school,                    Freely including, while keeping us one,
Like it or not, no one can be truant,                                 Like it or not, life is perfect wholeness,
And by living, none can be absent.                                   And none can remove its transcending
                                                                                            fullness.

                                                                         Amen!
