When love becomes
stronger than who you are,
And shadows in you are
chased away far,
From your heart in pain,
yet gently caressed
By the arms of love, it
becomes so blessed
That it takes in full, humanity's state,
How can the lowly with
such love relate?
Yet love’s touch, it
cannot be qualified,
Neither can it with works be quantified;
So as my heart learns
love’s unbounded way,
It must, in flesh, such
untamed love display.
To give, or receive, it
comes from above,
Since God is our source
of His perfect love.
When love steals my
heart with ‘passion-full’ plea,
I receive Jesus, and must
die to me.
I receive His abounding,
boundless love,
In your love, that does
not my pains dissolve,
But love that dares hold
me even closer,
Drawing me to you, in
unchained measure;
How can I respond to
love’s embraces?
In different ways, by
such different faces?
You’re teaching me to
accept what is true,
With a heart full of
love, I say, ‘Thank You.’
Amen!
