OUR WALK

 God's Sovereign  Choice

       

                    

Two of us walk together on a path God has chosen,

Two of us walk a path neither has ever trodden,

But it is the way the Lord for us has set,

And we know that the Lord has not fouled us yet,     

He has never erred in all that He has done,

Be not dismayed He from us has not gone;

Just for a moment, pause to remember,

That He is the Lord who is our Redeemer,

Remember, He saw us and called us His own,

He loved us before this fact to us was known,

He watches and guards each move that we make,

He will not allow anyone from Him, us take;

Though we walk a path together that is scary,

And often we are faint and O so weary,

Know all we must endure is no punishment,

Neither is it the path of God’s banishment,

And think not that it’s the power hand of evil,

The Lord has not given us up to the devil;

God loves us too much to lead us astray,

He will never abandon us come what may,

Our present walk is extremely rough,

But the Lord for us is sufficiently enough,

Just to know that we are in His chosen will,

Grants peace that makes our fears be still,

The path we must walk is God’s Sovereign choice,

So men will see His greatness and in Him rejoice. 

                                              Amen!
