What are we to do, O Lord God and Master?
The water before us is very bitter.
You are the Creator, our Lord and Maker,
We are Your children, for You are our Father.
You saved us and brought us to this present place,
Are we to now die in such utter disgrace?
O Father and Lord, this we really can’t face,
Is there nothing else left
of Your saving grace?
You took us from slavery and You set us free,
And saved us from the pursuing enemy,
But is a life of peace for us, not to be?
Lord, in Your Flesh of shamelessness, where are we?
