THE SELF IS EVIL - Self is dead when you are dead; you are dead when self is dead. What is self? Whatever is self to you and however you choose to see the self in you, know that it is not wanted by the Lord. He has told every single human being, that in order to be His disciple, in order to follow Him, self must be denied. It is impossible for you, or anyone for that matter, to not deny self and expect to follow Jesus.
Lord Jesus, take myself and free me to be a faithful follower, please. Amen!
