Resist Pride

RESIST PRIDE – Do not let pride become your companion, for it will surely cause you to fall, bringing you to great shame and destruction. Be watchful! When the Lord increases your boundaries, when He blesses you with more good things, do not begin to trust in them and set your heart on them, forgetting the Giver. God detests such, for pride is as the sin of divination that causes people to see themselves as above God. Humility delights the Lord. Pride disgusts the Lord.

 

When You increase my blessings Lord and shower me with privileges and favour, let me not become puffed up in my own eyes. Keep me ever humble please. Amen!
