Demon

DEMON – The Bible tells us of Jesus driving out a demon that was mute from a certain man. We are told that the evil power which was controlling that man’s life, keeping him from speaking even one tiny word, was confronted by Jesus. Here is ‘dumb power’ against ‘Divine power’. As the evil spirit is trying to stay put in that imprisoned person, Jesus is loosening its tight hold and driving it out. Jesus is still driving out all kinds of demons from people and He never fails to drive them out completely. Note, when Jesus drives out the dumb spirit, the man talks.

 

What transforming power You have Jesus, to drive out all that has me imprisoned, unable to live as You say I can live. Amen!
