THE PROMISE ELATES – There are times when you are down in the depths of utter disheartenment and crippling weakness and, like the people of Jabesh Gilead, you are up against enemy odds which have left you totally with your back against the wall. You send and ask for help. Your prayers are answered and the reply comes back to you that you will be delivered. Does not this word of promise, change you immediately and bring pure elation? When our Lord says that He will deliver you from a vicious, unscrupulous, evil, believe Him. Lift your countenance, raise your voice in high praise, for God never deceives you.
Holy God, You who are all Truth and in who no lies are found. I rejoice in Your promise. Amen!
