The Poor Are Blessed

THE POOR ARE BLESSED – So you’re poor and do not have the amenities and luxuries of life, as others have. You believe in God and pray to Him daily for a change in your status, but there is no visible change. This word comes to remind you and encourage you about the poor. Jesus is speaking specifically to His disciples, for He looks at them and speaks. Looking at his disciples, he said: Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Luke 6: 20. Jesus does have disciples who are poor, and He does honour all of them. Be it known that the poor are very rich in faith, and this makes God happy.

 

Show me Lord, that I can be poor and yet delighting You. Amen!
