FATAL ADVICE OF A FRIEND – There is nothing wrong in sharing your ups and downs with a friend whom you respect and trust. Sometimes though, it takes a certain serious problem to show up the kind of friend or advisor you truly have. Amnon, a son of King David had a serious problem and went to his dear friend for advice. However, the advice was filled with deceit from beginning to end. Have you got friends whose advice is leading you away from God and His ways? Such advice is fatal.
Holy Lord, grant me the courage to turn far away from the advice of friends, which will lead me away from You and Your ways. Amen!
