ACTIONS OF SORROW – Long ago, when God’s people were in deep sorrow, they had actions of sorrow which were never missed or mistaken. They would rip their clothes, sprinkle ashes on their heads and fall prostrate before God in prayer. What are your actions of sorrow, before the Lord? He still looks for them, as they are seen in the sorrowful heart. Tear your heart, not your garments, that God will clothe you in His rightness. Put ashes on your thoughts, as you make them null before God so that you can receive His. Let your entire will lie prostrate before God. God honours your actions of sorrow.
