Shepherd And Sheep

SHEPHERD AND SHEEP – Shepherd Jesus is proud of His sheep. How do we know this? We hear this in His voice when He says, with all surety that He knows His sheep and His sheep know Him. The same confident assurance which He has for Himself about knowing His sheep, He ascribes to the sheep. He says plainly that His sheep know Him. A child can only truly know his or her father to the extent, the father makes himself known to his child. Jesus’ confidence in His sheep is well founded.

 

Thank You Jesus for being our true, good and proud Shepherd. We, Your sheep delight in You. Amen!
