FOLLOWERS OF JESUS – Anyone can say that he or she is a follower of Jesus. Take full note! To be a true follower or disciple of Jesus, requires more than simple talk and nominal following. Jesus once said this to His disciples and still says it to us who wish to be His followers. The criteria are, self-denial, cross-bearing and following Jesus. No one who refuses to die to all of self, will ever be able to take up their cross and follow Jesus.
Holy Jesus, I will follow You; help me to do what I need to do, please. Amen!
