Body And Blood

BODY AND BLOOD – When Jesus instituted the Holy Sacrament of His Body and Blood, He was very clear on many things. One thing He openly stated was that whoever, by faith, feeds on Him, that person will be assured of eternal life in and through Him. Sharing in the Eucharist or Lord’s Supper, means that a person abides in Jesus and Jesus in her or him. Jesus stated in the hearing of all, believers and non-believers that He is Life. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. John 6: 55 

 

Jesus, thank You for Your life-giving and life-sustaining Body and Blood, shed for all humankind on Calvary. Grant us faith to believe and receive. Amen!
