GRACE FOR YOUR SPIRIT

                     The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

                       Amen. 

Philippians 4: 23

                                                             

O Spirit of authority, truth and grace,

Please enter into my meager earthly place,

Feed my dull, empty spirit with life to shine,

That a lifted spirit in You, will be mine.

O Spirit of comfort, hopefulness and peace,

Please give to my lost sinful heart Your release,

Wash and clothe me in Your righteousness divine,

That a risen spirit in You, will be mine.

O Spirit of pardon, of mercy and care,

Please teach me how Your Holy Name I must fear,

Guide my footsteps in the way of repentance,

That my spirit on You will know reliance.

O Spirit of power, holy, just and right,

Please give the assurance that it is alright,

Discipline me, school me, in Your word and way,

That my spirit Your perfect Will, will obey.

O Spirit of authority, truth and grace,

Your undeserved love I’ll receive in my place,

For You give the human spirit life to soar

Grace sufficient, grave abundant and much more.
