KING JESUS – Believers will readily acknowledge that Jesus is King and that we ought to worship His Majesty. However, the confession of Him as King, without the manifestation of the same, is as those who called zealously for His crucifixion. We are no different from the chief priests and shepherds of the children of God, who publicly denounced Jesus as their King. They chose a secular king over a Spiritual King.
Whom have you chosen as your King, when you are faced with decisions and issues that are controversial? Whose colours are you draped in?
Jesus, Victorious King, many are calling me to join the band of believers who speak of You as King but give allegiance to another. Grant me the Spirit’s strength to stand for You. Amen!
